Job Description

The CRM Specialist is responsible for building and ensuring strong customer relationships for key Follett accounts at the K-12 education district and site levels.

In this role, you will:
  • Maintain regular communication and act as a dedicated contact for all CRM customer interactions.
  • Provide ongoing service and support while managing the customers' expectations and implementing action plans where needed.
  • Relay customer issues and monitor the path towards resolution.
  • Serve as a conduit for our customers, filtering critical and strategic information that supports the K-12 district and Follett's goals.

Job Requirements

    Essential Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B relationship building, and fostering those relationships, across multi-levels of an organization and client base.
  • Minimum 5 years of customer relationship or account management experience, preferably with a software/technical solutions company.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Education or Related Field.  
  • Detail oriented, solution driven thinker with unfailing follow through.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must have the ability to multitask, managing 40-50 customer relationships, and prioritize customers' needs and feedback.
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills, including the ability to identify solutions to customer needs.
  • Team player able to work effectively/collaboratively with multiple functional areas within the organization and with the districts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including design and delivery of presentations to one or many.
  • Willingness to travel 25% to 50%. 
  • Able to work independently, whether in the office or outside the office.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of technology tools used to provide conference calls, web-based presentations and video conferencing.

Desired  Qualifications

  • Experience in the Pre K-12 market interacting with district administrators and decision makers.
  • Experience with Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems and/or Curriculum Management Systems.
  • Experience as customer advocate.
