This challenging role will direct responsibility for a portfolio of websites including working directly with field and home office personnel, vendor and business partners to merchandise, market, implement new online features and tools/utilities, that will maintain and improve all of our eCommerce properties. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to issue escalation and/or resolution, conducting analysis and preparing reports on progress, customer/field training needs and special projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Operations & Support. Assumes direct responsibility for all aspects of stores website(s). Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to working with bookstore and/or home office to determine website product display, best practices for the website design and store specific content. Performs regular site audits to ensure proper merchandising, marketing, events/announcements data is relevant. Provide the initial timelines and expectations for the implementation of new accounts, host regularly scheduled meetings to review the progress of the implementation, follow-up with all internal and external departments to review progress and follow-through in providing updates and recaps. Deactivate closed accounts. Support implementation of academic utilities. Troubleshoot, escalate and monitor through resolution store level issues to level 2 or 3 support. Records and analyzes field suggestions/feedback for site improvements. Escalates to the Product Team for evaluation for inclusion. Reviews current processes for improvement. May create analytics reports.

Marketing. This role will address marketing needs including but is not limited to, hot market support, global and store level promotions, campus specific marketing initiatives, and pilot programs. Submits requests and gives direction for marketing digital assets. Collaborate with other internal teams (Product, GM, IM, IP, IT, etc.) for these initiatives. May work with vendors on marketing initiatives. Support new marketing initiatives with third party vendors and/or affiliates.

Product, Course Materials and Image Management. Assist with course materials website display and issues. Build and merchandise campus shop categories and assortments. Merchandises site to support promotions, hot market, and special events.

Training. Assists with creation and maintenance of Administration guides. Trains store personnel to conduct internal, relevant site checks with regard to events, promotions order fulfillment, operations, and product images. Field Support Webinar subject matter expert for eCommerce topics.

Job Requirements

Requirements include:

Bachelor's degree

1 to 3 years of eCommerce Operations, customer service.

Online merchandizing and marketing experience required. 

Demonstrated problem solving skills, sound business decision maker, analytical, time management, attention to detail, organized, demonstrated communication skills and presentation skills, relationship building/ works well within a team.

Related Experience: retail, customer service, account management.

Advanced computer skills.
